In Search of the Brew They Went

Here’s how it went down. . .

Gabe - hey man, what are you up to tonight?
Jack - Nothing, just reading harry potter. Hey, we should hit up that brewery at Disney’s Boardwalk that brews their own rootbeer.
Gabe - Sweet, i’ll pick you up in a little while.

An hour or so later at the Big River Brewery. . .

Gabe - yeah, we’ll take a table for 2.
Host - ok, it’ll be about 30-40 minutes.

30 minutes later at the table . . .
Jack - i wonder what it will taste like.
Gabe - i don’t know but i hope it’s good.
Waitress - hi, welcome, what would you like to drink?
Gabe - well, weve actually come because we heard that you brew your own rootbeer here.so, we’ll have 2 of those.
Waitress - Oh, i’m sorry. . . because disney has a contract with Coca Cola, we can only serve their soft drinks. So we don’t have our rootbeer at this location.
Gabe & Jack - F!!!

Final thought. . . i hate coca cola!!

The Fellowship Begins. . .

I want to start off by saying that i’m sure Trav is going to post about what i’m going to discuss, but i just can’t hold it in any longer.
Last night 7 guys met at Trav’s house for what I guess you can call an introduction and brainstorming session on the topic of starting a 20-something ministry in the polk county area. In all there were 5 churches represented to some degree. I have to admit that I’ve never been in the same room with a bunch of guys that were so in tune with each other in my life. God is definitely stirring the hearts of a lot of people in our community. Needless to say, something big is about to happen. I say that because we prayed. Scary thought huh? In fact we prayed that things will be different from now on and that God will set everything in motion. Last time I prayed this kind of prayer winterlake ended going in a completely different direction than anyone was anticipating. So our journey begins. I’m not sure where it will end, but I do know one thing. . . you don’t want to miss out on this!

Mac Attack

So the reason i’ve been focusing on Apple a lot lately is because i recently got one of these for a killer deal. . .

Unfortunately it had 2 dents in the very front that i didn’t notice until after the fact. Of course Apple doesn’t cover that kind of damage so i had to take matters into my own hands. . .

Don’t worry she’s all better now. . .

I don’t know the meaning of the word “fear”, and no, i don’t work for Steve Jobs. . . yet. . .
