Death by meeting. . . ?

June 25, 2008 · 2 Comments

No i’m not talking about the book by Patrick Lencioni. Actually, I have a very important meeting tomorrow morning. It’s about something i’ve been praying about for a long time. What’s really amazing is that regardless of the outcome I know it’s going to be a win-win situation. So, 16 hours and counting. . . i’ll try not to bite my nails off! What about you guys? Has God given you a total peace about anything you’ve been praying about?

The Worst 4-Letter Word. . .

March 14, 2008 · 3 Comments

“Date.”

That word can mean anything from what day it is to what kind of chocolates you’re going to be purchasing earlier in the day. Most people that know me are aware of my current relationship status. . . “nonexistent.” So when I say that there is a fairy trying to play matchmaker for me, I am am not kidding. Some of you guys know that I work with “Tinkerbell” at Disney, and no it is not paris hilton’s dog. Well, the other evening she started quizzing me about my lack of a relationship, and 10 minutes later she volunteered herself to find someone for me.
I can hear the roaring laughter from some of you now!!

So here’s my question for those of you that are married. . . what was your first date, and did someone play the role of matchmaker?

Apple Store Adventures, Could they get any cooler?

February 18, 2008 · 1 Comment

FYI, i’m starting over. . . now on to the goods!!

So today Jamison and I headed out to Orlando for various reasons.  One of which was to visit the holy temple of Apple.  As we walked in the first thing that caught my eye was the new store lay out.  I hadn’t been there in a while, so I was totally having a geekfest looking at all the new stuff.  Not only did they make the place bigger somehow, but they got rid of all the registers except for 1 or 2.  It took me a minute to realize that the reason there were barely any registers in sight was because all of the sales people had wireless credit card machines that could complete your purchase from anywhere in the store!!!  How cool is that!!!!  Needless to say that I left an offering completed my purchase over by the kids’ computer area.  It’s incredible how Apple continues to innovate not just their products, but everything else about how they do business!!!
